Harvard Apology Demand from Trump Administration
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The White House stated that President Donald Trump desires an apology from Harvard University. When questioned about the potential removal of the school’s tax-exempt status, press secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized the president’s clear stance that Harvard must adhere to federal law. She noted, “He also wants to see Harvard apologize for the egregious anti-Semitism that took place on their college campus against Jewish American students.”
Harvard, in response, rejected several demands from the Trump administration, asserting that compliance would effectively surrender control of the institution to a conservative government that views universities as excessively leftist.
