Turkey Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Turkey stocks declined after the close on Monday, as losses in the Wholesale & Retail Trade, Textile & Leather, and Banking sectors contributed to the downturn.
At the closing bell in Istanbul, the BIST 100 lost 1.26%.
Best Performers
The leading stocks on the BIST 100 for the session were:
– Besiktas Futbol Yatirimlari Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:BJKAS): +7.62% or 0.33 points, closing at 4.66.
– Alfa Solar Enerji AS (IS:ALFAS): +5.34% or 3.20 points, ending at 63.10.
– Yeo Teknoloji Enerji ve Endustri AS (IS:YEOTK): +3.35% or 1.75 points, trading at 54.00.
Worst Performers
The underperformers of the day included:
– Peker Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:PEKGY): -4.27% or 0.07 points, closing at 1.57.
– Adel Kalemcilik Ticaret ve Sanayi AS (IS:ADEL): -3.93% or 1.48 points, ending at 36.14.
– Limak Dogu Anadolu Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:LMKDC): -3.78% or 1.18 points, trading at 30.06.
Overall, falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 291 to 260, while 25 stocks remained unchanged.

- Gold Futures for February delivery decreased by 0.05% or 1.39, reaching $2,674.41 per troy ounce.
- Crude oil for January delivery fell 0.87% or 0.62, settling at $70.67 per barrel.
- The February Brent oil contract dipped 0.28% or 0.21, trading at $74.28 per barrel.
Currency Update
- The USD/TRY rose 0.09% to 34.95.
- The EUR/TRY increased by 0.05% to 36.70.
- The US Dollar Index Futures declined 0.02% to 106.66.
