Taiwan Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport and Electronic Parts/Components sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted declined 0.39%.

The best performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted were:

– Biostar Microtech International Corp (TW:2399): added 10.00% or 3.20 points to end at 35.20.
– Loop Telecommunication International Inc (TW:3025): up 9.99% or 7.10 points to 78.20 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
– China Container Terminal Corp (TW:2613): fell 9.99% or 3.85 points to trade at 34.70 at the close.
– Wan Hai Lines Ltd (TW:2615): declined 9.98% or 9.90 points to end at 89.30.
– Creative Sensor Inc (TW:8249): down 9.93% or 5.60 points to 50.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
