Sweden Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, with losses in the Financials, Telecoms, and Healthcare sectors leading shares downward.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.57%.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were:
SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb): rose 3.54% or 7.70 points to trade at 223.60.
AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN): added 2.16% or 34.00 points to end at 1,605.50.
ABB Ltd (ST:ABB): up 1.64% or 9.60 points to 595.00 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb): fell 2.73% or 1.50 points to trade at 54.10.
Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa): declined 2.55% or 5.50 points to end at 209.80.
Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa): down 1.58% or 2.45 points to 152.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 471 to 298, with 76 ending unchanged.

Commodities Update

  • Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.99% or 2.72 to $70.89 a barrel.
  • Brent oil for December delivery rose 3.68% or 2.64 to hit $74.34 a barrel.
  • December Gold Futures contract rose 0.97% or 25.80 to trade at $2,685.20 a troy ounce.

Currency Update

  • EUR/SEK was up 0.60% to 11.38.
  • USD/SEK rose 1.22% to 10.28.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 100.98.
