(Reuters) – Chrysler parent Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) will recall about 33,777 Ram 1500 pickup trucks in the U.S. due to concerns regarding the electronic stability control system, as announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Wednesday.

The issue revolves around potential damage to the front wheel hub encoder rings, which may disable the electronic stability control system.
Actions to be Taken
Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the front wheel bearing hub assembly free of charge, according to the auto safety regulator.
