Spain Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Financial Services & Real Estate, and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.06%.

The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were:
Inmobiliaria Colonial SA (BME:COL): Rose 2.91% or 0.17 points, trading at 5.84 at the close.
Telefonica (BME:TEF): Added 1.51% or 0.06 points, ending at 4.16.
Acciona (BME:ANA): Up 1.39% or 1.70 points, trading at 124.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were:
Fluidra (BME:FLUI): Fell 1.79% or 0.40 points, trading at 21.98 at the close.
Industria de Diseno Textil SA (BME:ITX): Declined 0.65% or 0.32 points, ending at 48.66.
Laboratorios Farmaceuticos ROVI (BME:ROVI): Down 0.57% or 0.45 points, trading at 79.10.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 101 to 79, with 36 ending unchanged.

Commodities

  • Gold Futures for December delivery: Up 0.24% or 6.00, now at $2,533.60 a troy ounce.
  • Crude oil for October delivery: Rose 0.95% or 0.70, hitting $74.25 a barrel.
  • November Brent oil contract: Rose 0.74% or 0.57, trading at $77.50 a barrel.

Currency Exchange Rates

  • EUR/USD: Unchanged 0.18% at 1.11.
  • EUR/GBP: Unchanged 0.07% at 0.84.
