Spain Stock Market Review
Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Telecoms & IT, and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.04%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were:
– Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA (BME:ANE): up 2.09% or 0.42 points to trade at 20.52.
– Repsol (BME:REP): added 1.42% or 0.17 points to end at 12.15.
– Caixabank SA (BME:CABK): up 1.25% or 0.06 points to 5.17.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Sacyr SA (BME:SCYR): fell 2.57% or 0.08 points to trade at 3.19.
– Indra A (BME:IDR): declined 1.87% or 0.32 points to end at 16.83.
– International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (BME:ICAG): down 1.79% or 0.04 points to 2.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 113 to 69, with 31 ending unchanged.
Commodities Update
- Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.03% or 0.80 to $2,670.50 a troy ounce.
- Crude Oil for delivery in November rose 4.39% or 3.08 to hit $73.18 a barrel.
- Brent Oil for December rose 4.15% or 3.07 to trade at $76.97 a barrel.
Currency Movement
- EUR/USD was unchanged at 0.26% to 1.10.
- EUR/GBP rose 0.86% to 0.84.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 101.80.
