Saudi Arabia Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, with losses in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities, and Building & Construction sectors leading to declines.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.07%.

Best Performers

  • Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) rose 9.64% or 1.38 points to trade at 15.70.
  • Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.14% or 0.02 points to end at 0.30.
  • Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) increased 4.64% or 49.80 points to 1,122.00 in late trade.

Worst Performers

  • Eastern Province Cement Co. (TADAWUL:3080) fell 6.79% or 2.35 points to trade at 32.25.
  • Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210) declined 4.18% or 12.20 points to end at 279.80.
  • Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) was down 4.03% or 5.20 points to 123.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 198 to 106, and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Retal Urban Development Company SJSC reached all-time highs, rising 9.64% or 1.38 to 15.70.

Commodities Update

Crude oil for December delivery rose 2.83% or 1.97 to $71.46 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for January delivery increased 2.63% or 1.92 to $75.02 a barrel, and December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.90 to trade at $2,751.10 a troy ounce.

The EUR/SAR was up 0.66% to 4.10, while USD/SAR remained unchanged at 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 103.61.
