Russia Stocks Decline
Investing.com – Russia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, with losses in the Mining, Oil & Gas, and Power sectors contributing to the decline.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia Index fell 2.00%.

– OK Rusal MKPAO (MCX:RUAL), declining 5.41% or 1.92 points to end at 33.60.
– Gazprom PJSC (MCX:GAZP), down 5.08% or 6.17 points to 115.31.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 189 to 54, with 9 ending unchanged.
Shares in GDR ROS AGRO PLC ORD SHS (MCX:AGRODR) reached 52-week lows, remaining unchanged at 1,083.80.
The Russian Volatility Index (RVI), which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, was up 1.43% to 47.36.
Commodities Trading
- Gold Futures for February delivery rose 0.24% or 6.29 to $2,674.19 a troy ounce.
- Meanwhile, Crude Oil for delivery in January fell 1.79% or 1.25 to hit $68.69 a barrel.
- The February Brent oil contract declined 1.67% or 1.23 to trade at $72.39 a barrel.
Currency Exchange
- USD/RUB remained unchanged at 105.00.
- EUR/RUB rose 0.01% to 110.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged at 106.34.
