President Trump to Address Digital Asset Summit
President Donald Trump is expected to address the audience at the Digital Asset Summit in New York City on Thursday, March 20.
His morning speech will mark the first time a sitting president has ever spoken at a crypto industry conference.
The announcement follows remarks from Bo Hines, Executive Director of the White House’s Presidential Council of Advisers on Digital Assets, who spoke at DAS earlier this week. He hinted at the administration’s intent to accumulate bitcoin for its newly announced strategic bitcoin reserve.
> “It’s high time that our president started accumulating assets for the American people, which is what President Trump is doing rather than taking it away,” Hines stated to the crowd on Tuesday.
>
> “I’ve been asked all the time, it’s like how much do you want, right? I mean, as much as we can get.”
Other notable speakers at the event include lawmakers Rep. Ro Khanna and Rep. Tom Emmer, as well as industry executives like Strategy CEO Michael Saylor and Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, who revealed that the SEC dropped its appeal against his firm during the event.
The address will be available to watch via the event’s livestreams. Find it here on X and here on YouTube.
