Netherlands Stocks Close Lower
Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials, and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX lost 0.50% to hit a new 3-month low.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the AEX were:
– IMCD NV (AS:IMCD): +5.96% or 8.60 points to trade at 152.90
– Universal Music Group NV (AS:UMG): +1.98% or 0.46 points to end at 23.71
– Relx PLC (AS:REL): +1.50% or 0.66 points to 44.64 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Adyen NV (AS:ADYEN): -4.73% or 63.20 points to trade at 1,272.60
– Randstad NV (AS:RAND): -3.49% or 1.52 points to end at 42.00
– Prosus (AS:PRX): -2.57% or 1.01 points to 38.44.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 54 to 43, with 9 remaining unchanged.
The AEX Volatility, measuring the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged at 21.09.
Commodities Trading
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.94% or 2.13 to $70.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading:
– Brent oil for January: -2.55% or 1.93 to $73.70 a barrel
– December Gold Futures: -0.44% or 11.85 to $2,693.95 a troy ounce.
Currency Exchange
- EUR/USD was down 0.96% to 1.07
- EUR/GBP remained unchanged at 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 105.01.
