Netherlands Stocks Close Higher

Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Construction & Materials, and Food Producers sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX gained 0.16%.

• Wolters Kluwer (AS:WLSNc): -1.57% or 2.40 points to trade at 150.20.
• Relx PLC (AS:REL): -0.99% or 0.42 points to end at 41.84.
• IMCD NV (AS:IMCD): -0.82% or 1.25 points to 152.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 69 to 26, with 16 ending unchanged. The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, remained unchanged at 21.09.

• Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.60% or 1.18 to $74.89 a barrel.
• Brent oil for December delivery rose 1.42% or 1.10 to hit $78.72.
• December Gold Futures fell 0.25% or 6.65 to trade at $2,672.55 a troy ounce.
