Mexico Stock Market Review
Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, led down by the Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services, and Consumer Staples sectors.
At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC declined 1.72% to hit a new 6-month low.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC were:
– Coca-Cola Femsa SAB de CV (BMV:KOFUBL): +2.24% (3.73 points) to close at 170.03.
– Becle SA (BMV:CUERVO): +1.09% (0.35 points) to end at 32.48.
– Arca Continental, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:AC): +0.58% (1.02 points) to finish at 178.08 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Gentera SAB de CV (BMV:GENTERA): -6.00% (1.28 points) to trade at 20.05.
– Regional SAB de CV (BMV:RA): -5.01% (6.63 points) to end at 125.70.
– Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV:TLEVISACPO): -4.92% (0.37 points) to close at 7.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 151 to 94, with 11 stocks remaining unchanged.
Shares in Grupo Televisa SAB Unit hit all-time lows, losing 4.92% to 7.15.

- Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.11% ($2.80) at $2,524.80 a troy ounce.
- Crude Oil for October delivery fell 4.53% ($3.33) to $70.22 a barrel.
- Brent Oil for November fell 0.07% ($0.05) to trade at $73.67 a barrel.
Currency Exchange
- The USD/MXN was up 0.07% to 19.80.
- The EUR/MXN was unchanged at 21.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 101.69.
