Mexico Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Friday, led by gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services, and Consumer Staples sectors.

At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC gained 1.07%.

Best Performers

  • Industrias Penoles Sab De CV (BMV:PEOLES): +4.31% or 12.14 points to 293.55
  • Controladora Vuela Compania de Aviacion SAB de CV (BMV:VOLARA): +3.96% or 0.54 points to 14.19
  • Alfa, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:ALFAA): +3.43% or 0.49 points to 14.79

Worst Performers

  • Genomma Lab Internacional SAB De CV (BMV:LABB): -1.92% or 0.48 points to 24.52
  • Qualitas Controladora, SAB De CV (BMV:Q): -1.00% or 1.53 points to 151.79
  • Kimberly – Clark De Mexico A (BMV:KIMBERA): -0.59% or 0.18 points to 30.50

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 151 to 76 and 19 ended unchanged.
