Mexico Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Monday, driven by gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services, and Consumer Staples sectors.

At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC rose 0.06%.

  • Grupo Aeroportuario Del Sureste (BMV:ASURB): +4.81% (25.61 points) to 558.47
  • Promotora y Operadora de Infraestructura SAB de CV (BMV:PINFRA): +4.19% (7.24 points) to 180.01

Worst Performers

  • Cemex SAB de CV (BMV:CEMEXCPO): -8.04% (0.96 points) to 10.98
  • Alfa, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:ALFAA): -3.79% (0.56 points) to 14.23
  • Qualitas Controladora, SAB De CV (BMV:Q): -2.54% (3.60 points) to 138.31

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 140 to 92, with 15 ending unchanged.

Commodities Market

  • Gold Futures for December delivery: +0.01% (+0.20) to $2,754.80 a troy ounce.
  • Crude oil for December: -5.25% (-3.77) to $68.01 a barrel.
  • January Brent oil: Unchanged at $71.60 a barrel.

Currency Exchange

  • USD/MXN: +0.05% to 20.03
  • EUR/MXN: -0.06% to 21.66

The US Dollar Index Futures was up +0.05% at 104.18.
