Italy Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities, and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 lost 0.74%.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were:
Stellantis NV (BIT:STLAM): rose 2.93% or 0.36 points to trade at 12.60 at the close.
Nexi SpA (BIT:NEXII): added 1.72% or 0.10 points to end at 5.80.
Tenaris SA (BIT:TENR): was up 0.90% or 0.14 points to 15.15 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
ERG (BIT:ERG): fell 3.19% or 0.68 points to trade at 20.64 at the close.
STMicroelectronics (BIT:STMMI): declined 2.82% or 0.73 points to end at 25.03.
Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT:CPRI): down 2.34% or 0.15 points to 6.18.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 342 to 137, with 42 unchanged.

Shares in ERG and Davide Campari Milano SpA fell to 3-year lows.

Commodities Update

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.76% or 0.52 to $69.13 a barrel. In commodities trading:
– Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.65% or 0.47 to hit $72.63 a barrel.
– December Gold Futures contract fell 1.74% or 48.70 to trade at $2,752.10 a troy ounce.

Currency Update

EUR/USD was unchanged at 1.09, while EUR/GBP rose 0.78% to 0.84. The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 104.03.
