Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Utilities, Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 lost 0.32%.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were:
Leonardo SpA (BIT:LDOF): rose 3.63% or 0.74 points to trade at 21.10
Amplifon (BIT:AMPF): added 1.98% or 0.51 points to end at 26.33
Saipem SpA (BIT:SPMI): up 1.65% or 0.03 points to 2.03 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Iveco Group NV (BIT:IVG): fell 2.67% or 0.24 points to trade at 8.75

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 276 to 214 with 48 remaining unchanged.

  • Brent oil for December rose 0.26% or 0.19 to $73.75 a barrel.
