Greece Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household, and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 0.57%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were:
– Coca Cola HBC AG (AT:EEEr): rose 1.80% or 0.58 points to trade at 32.76 at the close.
– Petros Petropoulos SA (AT:PTRr): added 1.77% or 0.14 points to end at 8.06.
– Quality and Reliability SA (AT:QUAr): up 1.32% or 0.02 points to 1.23 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr): fell 3.73% or 0.12 points to trade at 3.10.
– Interlife General Insurance Company SA (AT:INLIFr): declined 3.07% or 0.14 points to end at 4.42.
– Titan Cement International SA (AT:TITCr): down 2.58% or 0.90 points to 34.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 91 to 33, with 18 ending unchanged.
Commodities Update
- Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.09% or 2.30 to $2,665.50 a troy ounce.
- Crude oil for delivery in November rose 2.29% or 1.70 to hit $76.08 a barrel.
- Meanwhile, the December Brent oil contract rose 2.10% or 1.64 to trade at $79.69 a barrel.
Currency Update
- EUR/USD was unchanged 0.01% at 1.10.
- EUR/GBP remained unchanged 0.34% at 0.84.
- US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 102.26.
