Ford to recall 90,736 vehicles over engine valve issue, US regulators say

(Reuters) – Ford (NYSE:F) will recall 90,736 vehicles due to potential engine intake valve issues that may lead to breakages while driving, as stated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Saturday.

Affected Models

The recall affects specific models from 2021-2022, including:
– Bronco
– F-150
– Edge
– Explorer
– Lincoln Nautilus
– Lincoln Aviator

These vehicles are equipped with either a 2.7L or 3.0L Nano EcoBoost engine.

Remedy Process

To resolve the issue, dealers will conduct an engine cycle test and will replace the engine as necessary, at no cost to the owner, according to the regulator.
