Evercore ISI Forecast for S&P 500

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Evercore ISI on Wednesday forecast the S&P 500 will rise to 6,600 by mid-2025, citing a potential "decisive and uncontested" win by Donald Trump as U.S. president and a possible Republican sweep as factors that were not widely anticipated.

The S&P 500 rallied to a record closing high of 5,929.04 on Wednesday, following the U.S. presidential election. Evercore also mentioned that prospects for deregulation are supportive for stocks.
