Rohlik Group Partners with Amazon for E-Grocery Services in Germany
PRAGUE (Reuters) – Czech Republic-based online grocer Rohlik Group has announced a partnership with Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) to enhance its e-grocery services in Germany, aiming to expand in Europe’s largest economy.
Operating under the Knuspr.de brand in Germany, Rohlik plans to expand its presence to over a dozen German cities in the upcoming years. Currently, it has launched services in Munich, Frankfurt, and most recently, Berlin.
As part of this partnership with Amazon.de, Rohlik will offer its products and delivery services to Amazon Prime members, starting with a trial in Berlin.
“While Knuspr.de will continue to serve customers directly, this collaboration aims to expand Rohlik's reach and reinforces its position in the German market,” said Tomas Cupr, founder and CEO of Rohlik.
Rohlik, a privately held company valued at over $1 billion in 2021, is on a strong expansion trajectory across Europe. With over one million monthly orders, it anticipates surpassing 1 billion euros in revenue by 2024.
