Bumble Announces Leadership Change
(Reuters) – Dating app operator Bumble (NASDAQ:BMBL) announced on Friday that its founder and executive chair, Whitney Wolfe Herd, will take over as chief executive from mid-March, following Lidiane Jones‘ resignation as CEO.
The company’s shares saw a nearly 5% increase in premarket trading.
Additionally, Bumble anticipates reporting fourth-quarter total revenue and Bumble app revenue above the midpoints of its previously established forecast ranges.
Jones will remain as CEO until the leadership transition is completed.
