Brazil Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Consumption, and Industrials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa lost 1.45%.

The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were:
Natura & Co SA (BVMF:NTCO3): +2.59% (0.37 points) to 14.63
Petroreconcavo SA (BVMF:RECV3): +1.83% (0.33 points) to 18.38
YDUQS Participacoes SA (BVMF:YDUQ3): +1.63% (0.15 points) to 9.37

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Sendas Distribuidora SA (BVMF:ASAI3): -5.73% (0.41 points) to 6.74
Azul SA Pref (BVMF:AZUL4): -4.81% (0.30 points) to 5.94
Atacadao SA (BVMF:CRFB3): -4.74% (0.43 points) to 8.64

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 626 to 302, with 53 ending unchanged.

Shares in Sendas Distribuidora SA (BVMF:ASAI3) fell to all-time lows, down 5.73% (0.41 points) to 6.74.

The CBOE Brazil ETF Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 0.70% to 28.95, marking a new 1-month high.
