Brazilian Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Consumption, and Electric Power sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa declined 0.69%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were:
– Azul SA Pref (BVMF:AZUL4): Up 4.87% (0.29 points) to 6.24
– Grupo Vamos SA (BVMF:VAMO3): Up 1.69% (0.11 points) to 6.61
– JBS SA (BVMF:JBSS3): Up 1.67% (0.52 points) to 31.63
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Sendas Distribuidora SA (BVMF:ASAI3): Down 8.00% (0.65 points) to 7.47
– Pet Center Comercio e Participacoes (BVMF:PETZ3): Down 3.87% (0.19 points) to 4.72

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 535 to 422, with 59 ending unchanged.
Shares in Sendas Distribuidora SA (BVMF:ASAI3) fell to all-time lows, down 8.00% (0.65) to 7.47.
The CBOE Brazil ETF Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 0.62% to 27.30.
Commodity Prices
- Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.51% (13.70) to $2,654.40 a troy ounce.
- Crude Oil for delivery in November rose 0.22% (0.15) to hit $68.33 a barrel.
- December US Coffee C contract rose 1.08% (2.90) to trade at $272.05.
Currency Exchange Rates
- USD/BRL was up 0.25% to 5.45.
- EUR/BRL was unchanged at 6.07.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 100.50.
