Bounce Token Surges in 2025

Bounce has experienced a parabolic rise in 2025, establishing itself as one of the top-performing cryptocurrencies in the market.

Significant Price Increase

Over the past six weeks, Bounce (AUCTION) soared to a high of $67.55, marking its peak since October 2021. It has surged over 712% from its lowest point this year, elevating its market cap to over $380 million.

Retail Investor Involvement

The spike in price is fueled by retail investors’ fear of missing out (FOMO). Data from Santiment reveals that active addresses for Bounce have risen sharply, reaching 1,505—a significant increase from less than 400 earlier this month.

Potential Whale Manipulation

On-chain data suggests that this surge may involve whale manipulation, with transactions exceeding $100k reaching a multi-month high. Furthermore, transactions above $1 million have also surged, raising potential concerns about the market dynamics.

Despite the increase in whale transactions, it remains unclear whether these whales are accumulating or offloading their holdings.

MDIA Indicator Concerns

The Mean Dollar Invested Age (MDIA) has seen alarming drops, with the 365-day MDIA falling from 112 to 38. Similarly, the 90-day MDIA plummeted from 33.4 to just 3. A declining MDIA often signals a substantial impending reversal for the token.

Lack of Major News

The ongoing price surge has not been accompanied by significant updates from Bounce Finance, aside from the recent launch of Bouncing Art Onchain, which allows for the tokenization of real-world art.

Price Analysis

The weekly chart indicates that the AUCTION token price increased from a low of $7.10 to $67.54, surpassing the critical resistance of $48.95, last seen in December. It has also exceeded the 50-week moving average.

Price patterns suggest Bounce may be transitioning into the markdown phase of the Wyckoff Theory, typically followed by distribution and possible markdowns, indicating a potential drop ahead.

Moreover, with indicators like the Relative Strength Index and Stochastic Oscillator showing overbought conditions, the likelihood of a sharp reversal in the coming days increases as it heads towards a distribution phase.
