U.Today – Michael Saylor on Bitcoin's Role in Money Evolution
Michael Saylor, cofounder and executive chairman of MicroStrategy, addressed the Bitcoin community on Bitcoin's role in the evolution of money.
"Bitcoin is Better Money": Saylor
Saylor often shares Bitcoin-themed tweets, and this time, he posted an AI-generated image of himself on a tropical beach, holding a big stone circle resembling a coin around his neck.
This stone circle symbolizes early money forms known to humanity. His tweet declared, “Bitcoin is better money,” expressing his belief that Bitcoin surpasses traditional forms of currency like seashells and stones.
As of now, Bitcoin is trading at $101,365 per coin, having risen 7.33% over the last two days from a low of $94,500.
Bitcoin Could Hit $200,000 in 2025: Bitwise Invest’s Ryan Rasmussen
Ryan Rasmussen, head of research at Bitwise Invest, shared bold crypto price predictions for 2025, suggesting Bitcoin could surge to $200,000 after breaking the $100,000 mark in December.
Rasmussen highlighted several catalysts for this price surge, including corporate Bitcoin purchases, the creation of a U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, improved regulatory conditions, supply tightening due to the 2024 halving, and increased spot ETF inflows.
However, he noted some hurdles: government Bitcoin sales, market corrections, and disappointing rate cuts. Michael Saylor predicted Bitcoin could be worth $13 million per coin in ten years as it captures market share from gold.
