Greece Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Friday, driven by gains in the Banking, Construction, and Travel sectors.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite rose 1.37%.
Best Performers
The standout performers on the Athens General Composite included:
– Jumbo SA (AT:BABr): rose 4.02% or 1.01 points, trading at 26.13 at the close.
– Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr): gained 3.13% or 0.40 points, ending at 13.20.
– Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr): increased by 3.09% or 0.23 points, closing at 7.68.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session included:
– Crete Plastics SA (AT:PLAKR): fell 3.95% or 0.60 points, trading at 14.60.
– Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr): declined 3.94% or 0.01 points, ending at 0.32.
– Centric Hold (AT:DESr): dropped 1.75% or 0.01 points, closing at 0.34.
Rising stocks on the Athens Stock Exchange outnumbered declining ones 77 to 44, with 17 remaining unchanged.
Shares in Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) hit 5-year lows, while Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr) reached 3-year highs.
Commodities Pricing
- Gold Futures for December delivery rose 0.01% or 0.25 to $2,679.45 a troy ounce.
- Crude oil for November delivery increased 0.76% or 0.56 to $74.27 a barrel.
- December Brent oil contract rose 0.70% or 0.54 to $78.16 a barrel.
Currency Exchange
- EUR/USD fell 0.51% to 1.10.
- EUR/GBP remained unchanged 0.42% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures increased 0.48% to 102.23.
