Spotify Outage Report

(Reuters) – Audio streaming platform Spotify (NYSE:SPOT) experienced outages affecting thousands of users on Sunday, as reported by the outage tracking website Downdetector.com.

Downdetector, which monitors outages through various sources including user reports, indicated that approximately 40,602 users in the United States were affected.

Many users shared their experiences regarding the disruption on the social media platform X.

Despite the outage, in the second quarter of 2024, the number of paying Spotify subscribers increased to 246 million.
