Taiwan Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Friday, driven by gains in the Semiconductor, Paper & Pulp, and Electronics sectors.
At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted rose 0.43% to hit a new 1-month high.

– Asia Optical Co Inc (TW:3019): -9.51% or -12.50 points to end at 119.00.
– Formosa Oilseed Processing Co Ltd (TW:1225): -7.53% or -11.00 points to close at 135.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

Commodity Update
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.28% or 0.19 to $67.48 a barrel. In commodities trading:

– Gold Futures for December fell 0.23% or 6.10 to trade at $2,688.80 a troy ounce.

- TWD/CNY remained unchanged at 0.22.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 100.56.
