Norway Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media, Transport, and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.57%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were:
– Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD): rose 2.18% or 2.95 points to trade at 138.05 at the close.
– Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG): added 1.29% or 14.00 points to end at 1,100.00.
– Orkla ASA (OL:ORK): up 1.02% or 0.95 points to 94.05 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR): fell 6.61% or 4.50 points to trade at 63.60.
– Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC): declined 4.08% or 8.00 points to end at 188.00.
– Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO): down 2.99% or 3.40 points to 110.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 182 to 100, and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) rose to 3-year highs, up 1.02% or 0.95 to 94.05.
Commodities Update
- Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.52% or 0.39 to $75.14 a barrel.
- Brent oil for November fell 0.60% or 0.47 to $78.19.
- December Gold Futures fell 0.42% or 10.75 to trade at $2,542.15 a troy ounce.
Currency Update
- EUR/NOK was down 0.30% to 11.66.
- USD/NOK rose 0.21% to 10.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 100.86.
