Boeing’s Forecast for China’s Aviation Market
(Reuters) – U.S. planemaker Boeing (NYSE:BA) announced on Monday that it anticipates China will require 8,830 new planes by 2043. This demand is driven by the country’s aviation industry as it expands and modernizes to accommodate the increasing need for passenger and cargo air travel.
This latest projection shows an increase from Boeing’s previous forecast, which estimated that Chinese airlines would need 8,560 new commercial planes through 2042.
