Greece Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household, and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.36%.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were:
Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr): rose 3.43% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.39 at the close.
Thessaloniki Port Authority SA (AT:OLTr): added 1.95% or 0.40 points to end at 20.90.
Coca Cola HBC AG (AT:EEEr): was up 1.45% or 0.46 points to 32.20 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr): fell 3.32% or 0.33 points to trade at 9.61 at the close.
Intrakat Technikon Kai Energeiakon Ergon AE (AT:INCr): declined 2.74% or 0.14 points to end at 4.97.
Alumil (AT:ALMr): was down 2.59% or 0.08 points to 2.82.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 74 to 48 and 17 ended unchanged.

Commodity Trading

  • Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.13% or 3.20 to $2,552.00 a troy ounce.
  • Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.51% or 1.17 to hit $76.25 a barrel.
  • The November Brent oil contract fell 1.33% or 1.07 to trade at $79.29 a barrel.

Currency Exchange Rates

  • EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.12.
  • EUR/GBP unchanged 0.30% to 0.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 100.60.
