Turkey Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, driven by gains in the Banking, Financials, and Wholesale & Retail Trade sectors.

At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 2.82%.

• Borusan Yatirim ve Pazarlama AS (IS:BRYAT): added 9.97% or 182.00 points to end at 2,007.00.
• Coca-Cola Icecek AS (IS:CCOLA): up 7.06% or 4.30 points to 65.20 in late trade.

Worst Performers

• Eczacibasi Yatirim Holding Ortakligi AS (IS:ECZYT): fell 2.31% or 4.90 points to trade at 206.90.
• Izdemir Enerji Elektrik Uretim AS (IS:IZENR): declined 1.43% or 0.30 points to end at 20.64.
• Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:REEDR): down 1.18% or 0.40 points to 33.52.

Market Overview

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 462 to 102, with 12 ending unchanged.

Shares in Izdemir Enerji Elektrik Uretim AS (IS:IZENR) fell to all-time lows, losing 1.43% or 0.30 to 20.64.

Commodities Trading

• Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.23% or 5.85 to $2,533.45 a troy ounce.
• Crude oil for October delivery rose 0.19% or 0.14 to $73.69 a barrel.
• November Brent oil contract fell 0.01% or 0.01 to trade at $76.92 a barrel.

• USD/TRY was down 0.46% to 33.91.
