The XRP market experienced a turbulent trading week with a net loss of 7.22%. Although the altcoin has shown some stability recently, there are no signs of price recovery. Market analysis by the X digital asset analysis handle More Crypto Online highlights important price levels for XRP’s future development.
XRP Bulls Await Breakout Confirmation As Market Remains Neutral
On February 22, More Crypto Online shared an insightful XRP price analysis detailing the necessary conditions for bullish or bearish movements. Currently, XRP is in a neutral consolidation range, indicating that neither bulls nor bears control the market.
According to the Elliot Wave Theory, XRP remains above the critical support level of $2.47, which keeps the bullish scenario alive. It is crucial for XRP enthusiasts to avoid a decisive drop below this level, which could trigger a bearish scenario.
If the price drops below this support, XRP could enter a downtrend, with potential support levels at $2.34, $2.22, $2.11, and $1.95. Conversely, to confirm a bullish breakout, market bulls need to push the price above the $2.75 resistance zone, potentially allowing XRP to soar above $3.30.
Another analyst, Egrag Crypto, suggests that for a solid bullish case, a monthly close above $3.00 is necessary to show enough buying pressure for a sustained uptrend. Such a development could set the stage for a new all-time high around $6.00.
XRP Market Overview: Time To Hodl?
As of now, XRP trades at $2.56, representing a slight increase of 0.84% over the past day. However, its monthly losses have accumulated to 16.18%. XRP has struggled to regain its bullish stance since November 2024 due to various factors, including broad market uncertainty.
Despite these challenges, CoinMarketCap data indicates that the altcoin community remains largely bullish, driven by expectations of long-term profitability. This optimism is bolstered by growing interest in an XRP Spot ETF and strong investor confidence in the new US administration’s crypto-friendly policies.
Additionally, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently withdrew its lawsuit against Coinbase Exchange, prompting discussions about a possible favorable resolution in the ongoing case against Ripple. Such outcomes could serve as significant bullish catalysts for the XRP market.
