Finland Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, with gains in the Basic Materials, Telecoms, and Consumer Services sectors leading the rise in shares.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.18%.
Best Performers:
– Metso Oyj (HE:METSO): +4.85% (0.42 points) to trade at 9.17
– Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA): +2.37% (0.10 points) to end at 4.20
– Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V): +2.33% (0.08 points) to 3.33 in late trade.
Worst Performers:
– Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V): -2.86% (-0.51 points) to trade at 17.30
– Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO): -2.27% (-0.94 points) to end at 40.48
– Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI): -1.67% (-0.19 points) to 10.92.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 103 to 73, with 13 remaining unchanged.
Commodities Update
- Brent oil for February delivery rose 1.66% (+1.18) to $72.30 per barrel.
- Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.95% (+1.31) to $68.51 per barrel.
- February Gold Futures increased 1.16% (+30.94) to $2,690.54 per troy ounce.
Currency Update
- EUR/USD was unchanged at 1.06.
- EUR/GBP remained steady at 0.83.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 105.66.
