Investing.com – Russia's stocks rose after the close on Friday, driven by gains in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas, and Power sectors.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia Index climbed 1.05%.

The top performers on the MOEX Russia Index included:

Worst Performers
The worst-performing stocks were:
– OK Rusal MKPAO (MCX:RUAL): down 3.08% (1.04 points) to 32.93.
– Surgutneftegas PJSC Pref (MCX:SNGS_p): down 2.53% (1.42 points) to 54.61.
– Moskovskaya Birzha PJSC (MCX:MOEX): down 1.64% (2.98 points) to 178.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 133 to 105, with 15 remaining unchanged.
Shares in Moskovskaya Birzha PJSC fell to 52-week lows, dropping 1.64% (2.98 points).
The Russian Volatility Index – RVI, which measures implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, decreased 1.85% to 44.61.

- Gold Futures for February delivery rose 0.20% (5.21) to $2,653.61 per troy ounce.
- Crude oil for January delivery fell 1.68% (1.15) to $67.15 a barrel.
- Brent oil for February declined 1.44% (1.04) to $71.05 a barrel.
