Greece Stock Market Update

Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household, and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were:

– Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr): added 1.64% or 0.01 points to end at 0.31.
– Piraeus Port (AT:OLPr): was up 1.43% or 0.40 points to 28.40 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session included:
– Intralot (AT:INLr): fell 5.72% or 0.06 points to trade at 0.94 at the close.

• Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.53% or 0.38 to hit $71.31 a barrel.
• January Brent oil contract fell 0.41% or 0.31 to trade at $74.61 a barrel.

Currency Rates

• EUR/USD was up 0.83% to 1.08.
• EUR/GBP unchanged at 0.11% at 0.83.
• US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.81% at 104.14.
