Lamborghini Reports Strong Revenue Growth

(Reuters) – Italian luxury sports car maker Lamborghini posted on Wednesday a 20% increase in nine-month revenue, reaching 2.43 billion euros ($2.60 billion). This growth was driven by a solid order backlog and high demand across all models.

The firm delivered 8,411 cars in the first nine months of 2024, reflecting an 8.6% increase compared to the same period last year, when they broke the 10,000 deliveries mark for the first time.

Lamborghini, part of Germany's Volkswagen (ETR:VOWG_p) group, also reported a 9.8% rise in its operating profit (EBIT) to 678 million euros.

CEO Stephan Winkelmann credited this growth to the introduction of three new models over the past 18 months.

CFO Paolo Poma stated, "Our third-quarter results further boost expectations of another record year, once again confirming our position among the most profitable brands in the luxury segment."
