Mexico Stock Market Overview
Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services, and Consumer Staples sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC fell 0.42% to hit a new 6-month low.
Top Performers
The best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC were:
– Regional SAB de CV (BMV:RA): rose 5.13% or 6.21 points to trade at 127.29 at the close.
– Genomma Lab Internacional SAB De CV (BMV:LABB): added 3.43% or 0.89 points to end at 26.80.
– GCC SAB de CV (BMV:GCC): up 2.64% or 4.22 points to 164.11 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 136 to 74, with 15 ending unchanged.
Shares in Becle SA (BMV:CUERVO) fell to 5-year lows, down 3.48% or 0.95 to 26.38. Conversely, shares in Genomma Lab Internacional SAB De CV (BMV:LABB) rose to 5-year highs, up 3.43% or 0.89 to 26.80.
Commodities
- Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.67% or 46.70 to $2,754.10 a troy ounce.
- Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.80% or 1.92 to hit $70.53 a barrel.
- The January Brent oil contract rose 0.03% or 0.02 to trade at $74.05 a barrel.
Exchange Rates
- USD/MXN was up 0.15% to 20.04.
- EUR/MXN was unchanged at 21.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 103.81.
