Boeing Strike Update
SEATTLE (Reuters) – Boeing (NYSE:BA) U.S. factory workers have rejected a new wage offer on Wednesday, prolonging a strike that is heavily impacting the financial situation of the troubled planemaker and its suppliers.
The largest union representing Boeing's workforce announced that 64% of approximately 30,000 workers in the U.S. Pacific Northwest voted against the proposed contract, which featured a 35% pay increase distributed over four years.
