Bitcoin Whale Movement

A Bitcoin whale holding over $72.5 million has recently transferred $3.58 million in BTC to Kraken, according to Arkham Intelligence.

This Bitcoin was mined just one month after Bitcoin's initial launch in March 2009. On Sept. 24, the whale moved 5 BTC to Kraken, and now the wallet still holds approximately 2,049.95 BTC, valued at $72.5 million.

Bitcoin surged by 3% on Friday, surpassing $62,000 after a stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs report where 254,000 jobs were added in September, exceeding the predicted 140,000. This boosted optimism for the economy and contributed to Bitcoin’s rise.

Earlier in the week, Bitcoin had experienced a 6% drop, falling to around $60,000. However, in anticipation of positive jobs data, the cryptocurrency recovered. After a brief dip post-report release, Bitcoin increased by over 1%, with other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and XRP also recording gains.
